Painting the Garden - Capturing Nature with Acrylics

I'm delighted to be teaching this workshop, the profits of which will go towards funding the superb work done at The Serge Hill Project for Gardening, Creativity, and Health. Inspired by the wonderful gardens and Plant Library of Tom and Sue Stuart-Smith, participants of all abilities can spend a day exploring ways to capture the essence of a garden in paint. I'll be sharing my painting process and techniques with practical guidance on composition, colour and mark-making.
Tickets for this workshop will include all materials, access to the gardens, refreshments and a home-cooked vegetarian lunch, using many ingredients sourced from the garden.
Crouch End Open Studios
I open my house and garden-studio for this lovely annual event in North London, with a selection of new work, prints and cards.
